FESTIVALS
July 3rd Independence Day Celebration

This annual tradition, now in its 12th year, takes place on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Featuring a huge parade, fireworks, vendors, Downtown Fun, and so much more! July 3rd Independence Day, including the fireworks show, is underwritten by VSECU. More info onJuly 3rd HERE.
First Night 2012

Ring in the New Year in downtown Montpelier, with a festival of lights, parade, fun for the entire family, and world class entertainment. End the night with an inspirational Lantern Launch. Stay for the Disco Party.Info on First Night Montpelier HERE.
Both festivals draw a combined attendance of 15,000 to 20,000 celebrants each year. Get your message out there, and become a part of the tradition. More on festivals HERE.

MONTPELIER MINUTE

Listen to WDEV every Friday morning at 8:30 when Pinky Clark talks about what's happening in downtown Montpelier this week! WDEV is a family owned and run news and music radio station for Northern New England. Sponsorship gets an on-air mention. Get established in this market today! Sponsorships start at $50. BROWN BAG CONCERT SERIES

The noontime summer concert series has been a longstanding feature of summer living in downtown Montpelier. The free concert takes place in the Pocket Park of Christ Church every Thursday at 12 Noon. The musical acts consist of local favorites and other big draws. Pack a lunch and come mingle with your neighbors. Sponsorship ensures that this community favorite can continue, and the musicians can get paid. Sponsorship costs $300. We will display your banner and mention in the intro. Interested? MEMORIAL PLANTERS
Help us to replace our aging oak barrels with attractive new planters with an urban aesthetic. These new municipal grade planters will be placed in groupings during the warm months and planted with flowers. They will be maintained by Montpelier Alive volunteers. Sponsorship allows you to create a plaque (usually in memory or honor of a person) with your special message. More info HERE.

HOLIDAY HAY WAGON
A special part of Montpelier’s holiday tradition is bringing the horse-drawn carriage downtown for free rides for our shoppers. We coordinate Santa’s visit, tree lighting, and decorations, as well a retail promotions. Sponsorship allows you to hang your banner proudly in support of your local downtown. Acknowledgement in all standard publicity efforts.
Shared Sponsorship (1/2 wagon) : $200. Full sponsorship: $400. Sign up by email. Space is limited.
POETRY ALIVE! 2012
This joint project of National Poetry Month is made in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library during April 2012. In a little more than a year, the effort has grown by almost twice. The storefront window display brings poets and readers to downtown streets from throughout Vermont. More info about POETRY Alive! 2011 HERE.
A variety of programming will be offered, and opportunities for sponsorship will develop as the program is scheduled. Sponsorship of POETRY Alive! begins at $1,000. Please email for more information.
