Galen Cheney & Tessa G. O’Brien 2019-09-07T12:00:00The T.W. Wood Art Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibit featuring the work of Galen Cheney & Tessa G. O’Brien.
Galen Cheney’s current work is a deepening of an exploration started during a residency in China in 2015. In China, Cheney worked with accumulated papers, building them up into multi-layered constructions.
Tessa G. O’Brien combines representation and process-based abstraction with color and mark-making to describe the experience and memory of places she has known.
Reception: September 6th, 3 – 8PM
In Conjunction with Elevation Celebration and Art Walk
The opening reception will take place on Friday, September 6th from 3 to 8pm in conjunction with Elevation Celebration and Art Walk.

In addition, The Vermont Pastel Society promotes public appreciation of pastels as a fine art medium. The Vermont Pastel Society currently has over one hundred members.
